1) There is a rumor spreading around the club that Surprise Mayor Sharon Wolcott ( a resident of SCG ) is threatening an injunction to stop the expansion of the Pickleball courts. The Pickleball Club Board has met with Mayor Wolcott and she has assured us that she has no intention of stopping the expansion plans passed by the Executive Board of Directors. I am asking all members to stop spreading this rumor around. This talk is not helping to improve our relationship with the residents who live near the courts or with the rest of the community. If anyone has questions about the expansion plans please send me an e-mail or speak to me or any other Board member directly and we will answer your question/concern to the best of our ability. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
2) If you are looking for monitor credit, there are still 7 openings in the month of May, and this Saturday is also open. If you are a Snowbird, get your credit in before you go home.
