Just a couple of quick updates about the club and the December Tournament.
- Next Sunday, September 1, 2019, we will be replacing all of the yellow Onix G-2 balls with the lime green Onix G-2 balls. These balls are identical in every way with the exception of color. We have been demoing them all summer long. They bounce the same. The thing you might notice is that you see the ball better and might make better shots. The yellow balls will be used in the ball machines and clinics.
- There will not be a September membership meeting. Our first membership meeting will be October 8, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Agua Fria room. It should be jam packed with lots of tournament news and updates.
- The December Tournament is coming along and we currently have 521 players signed up. Some of the Top players have already signed on like Irina Tereschenko, Lindsey Newman, Jessie Irvine, Michelle Esquivel, Stephanie Lane, Jennifer Dawson, Altaf Merchant, Zaen Affleck, Del Kauss, Kevin Booth and many others. Court sponsorship and vendor spaces is almost complete. There will be 12-15 vendors and 2 food trucks each day.
- We are still looking for host families to provide a place for the out of town players to stay at. If you want to help us out, please contact me and I will get you on the list.
