Happy New Year to one and all: I hope that 2020 started with a little pickleball being played wherever you may be.
We accomplished a great many things last year and we hope to accomplish even more in 2020.
I sent out 168 email blasts last year and will try and send out a few more than that this year.
Take a moment and think back on what the club did in 2019. 1449 club members, over 50,000 people used our courts in 2019, almost 300 people trained in First Aid and AED (huge thank you to Colleen and Tom), Thousands of people attending clinics, ball machine drills (thanks to Mel, Jeanne, Victor, Jerry, Linda, and all of the other instructors), some of the cleanest and best maintained courts in the world (thanks to Craig and his many helpers), plus a ton of other things that the club did as well, oh yeah, and we had one of the best tournaments held in the country and showcased the club and Grand to thousands of outsiders. Not too bad. Without the entire club, none of this would have been possible, so a BIG THANK YOU from me to the whole club. Let’s make 2020 better than ever.
