The Nominating Committee
The term for your Board of
Directors will expire on March 31, 2010. All positions must be filled by
present club members, who are in good standing.
As the nominating committee, we are responsible for soliciting the club membership for all positions which include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and 2 Members at Large. Our job is made much easier if you, the members, would NOMINATE yourself if you are willing to step up for a year and take your turn in helping our club provide the services we all enjoy as members. You may also nominate a peer whom you feel could contribute as a Board member.
The new term will begin on April
1, 2010 and run thru March 31, 2011. A description of duties for each
position can be found on the Pickleball website, http://www.grandpickleball.org
under Standing Rules.
If you are interested in serving on the Board yourself or have a nomination to make, please email the information to the Nomination Committee by January 5, 2010. Please use the group listed below:

This is a wonderful opportunity to step forward, help guide the direction of your club and make a difference. While it is beneficial for the Treasurer to be a full time resident since new members are submitting dues checks year round, it is not necessary to reside in Grand the full year to be a Board member.
