I know that we were all looking forward to a little return to some type of normalcy by having the Pickleball Club Party on our courts on February 22 2022, but after some long discussions with our HOA board of directors and the Pickleball club BOD, we have decided to postpone the event.
Due to all of the uncertainty in the world with the new COVID variants and the anticipated increase due to the holidays, I just don’t feel it’s the right time or am comfortable possibly putting people at risk.
Currently, we have not collected any money or paid out any funds for services, but on January 1, 2022, we were going to open up the ticket sales and start paying out funds for the band, caterer, rentals and more.
By stopping the process now, we won’t have the headache of returning money for tickets and losing our deposits for services.
I hope that everyone understands how hard of a decision that this was to make for our board, but we feel that it is the right decision.
