WITH ALL OF THE NEW/RENEWING MEMBERS JOINING THE PICKLEBALL CLUB LATELY, I’VE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF THE SAME QUESTION. What is The Den?
The den is a software program that our club uses to run several of our events – including Saturdays Luck of Draw (Seasonal Round Robin) and Ladies Ladder, Men’s Ladder, and Intro to Ladders. Evening groups use the Den to communicate with members.
IF you have paid for your 2023 Club Membership and your name is on the club roster – you will automatically be provided with a Pickleball DEN membership. (It doesn’t happen instantly upon getting your membership but very soon after your name shows up on the club roster.)
On the clubs web site at grandpickleball.org under the Menu, you will see The Den. Open the drop-down menu and you will see Den Instructions and a link to Pickleballden.com.
Pickleballden.com is where you go to create your account. If we have entered you as a club member, when you log into your Den account, you will see Grand Pickleball Club – if not you won’t see the club.
To Join Groups in the Den, click Join Sub-Clubs under Grand Pickleball Club. That will show you different available clubs and most have [Join] buttons to click right beside them.
The instructions under Den Instructions on the club’s web site will give you more helpful information like – How to enter your self-rating – which is required for ladders and how to sign up for play on a particular date.
1 – Make sure your name is on the club roster
2 – Go to PickleballDen.com and Create an account using the same email the club shows on its websites roster page. (Must be unique for each member in the household.)
3 – Log into the account with the password you created
4 – Use the “Join Sub-Club” to become part of a group
5 – Sign up for events using the sub-clubs Sign-Up Sheets link.
