Pickleball Club 2025 Board of Directors Election News

CALL FOR 2025 PICKLEBALL BOARD NOMINATIONS

Nominations for the 2025 Grand Pickleball Board are now open. All current members of the club are eligible, and may submit their name to fill the following open position:

Vice President

Secretary

Two Member at Large openings

Each board position requires a two-year commitment. Our current president, treasurer, and one member at large position were elected to serve from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025.

Job descriptions are attached.

If you are interested in any of the open positions, please send an email to me at the address below.

You will receive a confirming email.

Email is the only acceptable form of a nomination. No oral nominations will be accepted.

Current board members whose two-year term ends on December 31, 2024, and wishing to serve another term, are subject to the same email requirements.

Nominations will close at the later of November 25, 2024, or when we have a candidate for each position.

NEW VOTING SYSTEM

Electronic voting will be used. Online voting will take place starting December 3, and end December 9.

Paper ballots will be available at the December 10 meeting, along with a complete list of members who voted electronically, so they do not cast two votes.

Board member Mark Meier will be emailing instructions about how to sign up on the Voting Portal, and how to cast a vote.

More than 600 members have already used the portal to vote on previous surveys, so another 1300 need to be signed up.

Thank you.
