As you know, the club’s Training Directors, Mel Langer and Jeanne Harteau, have been holding weekly clinics for the 2.0/2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 players each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday since January. These clinics will continue through the last week of March.
If you have not been able to attend, please feel free to do so now. All former participants are welcome to continue attending.
If you are unfamiliar with what “clinic” means, the following should be helpful.
SKILL-LEVEL CLINICS
These sessions are designed to assist students in advancing their skill of playing pickleball and their understanding of the strategy of the game. You must know the basic rules of the game to participate.
Clinics are scheduled for one and a half hours. You must attend the full session. Players will be divided into groups of four to eight per court with an experienced instructor coaching throughout the playing time.
Players should attend clinics of their skill level, and not attend clinics beyond their abilities.
INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP TRAINING INFORMATION
We would also like to call your attention to a new page on our website titled “Individual & Group Training”. Please go to the “Player Development” drop-down menu and select “Individual & Group Training”. There you will find information on how to contact the club’s professional trainers who are fee-based, and our trainers who conduct private training on a non-fee basis. In addition, you will find contact information for those who are in charge of helping members to learn how to use the club’s ball machines.
Any questions, feel free to email Jeanne at jharteau@yahoo.com or Mel at mlanger1@cox.net
