More Court Updates

As everyone is aware, the courts are being resurfaced and should be done at the end of this week.  We hope to have all of the courts open and available by Saturday morning.
Nothing is guaranteed as to this timeline.

General Acrylics will be returning at a later date to replace the windscreens.  More on that later.

Starting Monday, October 23, 2023.  Drop-in times will move to 9-noon (7 days a week on all 22 courts).

We have also changed the court level designations and removed the numerical skill level ratings and replaced them with the following descriptions.

NOVICE:  ANY LEVEL BETWEEN 1.0 TO 2.5
INTERMEDIATE:  ANY LEVEL BETWEEN 3.0 TO 4.0
ADVANCED:  ANY LEVEL BETWEEN 4.5 TO 5.0

The map below shows how the courts are being assigned.
Courts 1-4 will be for Novice players.
Courts 5-16 will be for Intermediate players.
Courts 17-22 will be for Advanced players.

There will be a paddle holder for each 4 court section
Courts 1-4 is located outside of court 2.
Courts 5-8 is located between court 6 & 7
Courts 9-12 is located between courts 10-11
Courts 13-16 is located between courts 14-15
Courts 17,18,21,22 is located by court 18
Courts 19-20 is located by court 19

I am looking at getting volunteers to help put the courts back together on Sunday morning at 10 AM.  Please let me know if you can help out.
One last thing:  We are NOT putting the blue benches back onto the courts due to them scraping up the courts and making holes in the new surface.  It also helps the court cleaners by not having to move them a couple of times a month when they clean the courts.  They will be placed around the breezeways to provide more seating.

I know that this is a lot to take in but be patient.
See you around the courts.
