UPDATE: Please use the Pickleball Den app to sign up for the tournament
A couple of weeks ago, we held a voting survey about having an in-house pickleball tournament on December 7- 8, 2024.
604 club members voted, with the vast majority voting YES.
580 people voted yes and 24 people voted no.
With that, starting tomorrow September 25, the registration for GRAND GAMES VI is open for business.
On December 7, it will begin with Women’s and Men’s Doubles.
On December 8, it will be Mixed Doubles.
Cost is $45.
Instead of a t-shirt, you will be receiving an insulated cup (see picture below), a meal ticket and a lot of pickleball.
Skill levels are 2.5 to 4.5
Format will be round robin using Rally scoring to 21, win by 2, no freeze, and you don’t have to be serving to win the match.
There will be snacks and beverages available and a ton of Raffle prizes.
Vendors will be on site and a food tent will be serving food for the cost of $8 or a meal ticket.
