We are coming to the end of the sign-up period for this event. Registration closes at the end of business on February 16th. This fun event is limited to the first 100 players (35 spots are still open), and all proceeds will be donated to Stella’s Wish Foundation. Even if you don’t play, there is still a lot for you to see and do.
Rays’ rackets will be on site with demo paddles and items to purchase starting at noon. They are loading up their store and bringing it to Grand, it will be in the parking lot by courts 8-9. This is a chance to demo some paddles and check out their merchandise.
We know that you might not want to cook on Saturday, so why not purchase a great meal for $10. A Taco Bar will be available with a choice of 3 types of tacos – beef, shredded chicken or pork carnitas plus Spanish rice, nachos, a drink and dessert. Food will be served from 4PM until we run out.
Plus, there will be a silent auction with some incredible donated items, again, even if you don’t play in the charity event, you can help out by participating in the auction. Selkirk and Joola have donated a number of really good paddles and Deb Pelegrin has donated another fantastic quilt, Janelle Hansen of the Realty One Group, has put together a couple of fun baskets, plus much more.
One last thing, Stella’s Wish will be holding a 50/50 raffle during the event.
This will be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with family and friends socializing and having fun at the same time helping out a really great charity. After the event stick around for the APPL league play at 6PM
