Pickleball Plants, Paddles, Tuesday Night Mixer & Monitors Needed

WHAT’S IN THIS EMAIL
1.    Breezeway Plants
2.    Pickleball Paddles
3.    Tuesday Night Couples Mixer
4.    Monitors Needed for Summer Months

1.    Breezeway Plants
I am asking all Pickleball players to please put nothing into the plants, including extra water from your water bottle.  We have found left over coffee and even gum in the plants.  Also, Gatorade is not to be dumped into the plants.  Although you may think you are helping the plants, actually too much water or other liquids can damage the plants.

2.    Pickleball Paddles
As a reminder, SCG only allows Pickleball paddles that are in the green zone of the approved/banned Pickleball list to be used on our courts.  If you purchase a paddle that is not in the green zone, you do this at your own risk as these new paddles, if determined to be too loud, will not be approved.  Paddle Listing Link

3.    Tuesday Night Couples Mixer
It has come to my attention that attendance in the Tuesday Night Couples Mixer is beginning to dwindle.  Several members have mentioned they would like to play, however, do not have a partner.  Gayle and Jim, who run the Tuesday Night Mixer, want to change the format that is currently used in the Thursday & Sunday night Mixers which is (everyone welcomed).  I think this is a great idea and we will start doing this as of June 18th.  Therefore partners are not a requirement, so just show up and have a good time.

4.    Monitors Needed for Summer Months
It is imperative that we have Monitors for the summer months, so please fulfill your obligation now as we will not be able to have everyone complete their duty at the end of the year.

Thanks and have a nice summer,
