I would like to call an emergency Pickleball club membership meeting on Tuesday, May 15 at 9:00 AM in the pickleball pavilion by courts 1-4. The meeting should last about 15 minutes. The reason for the meeting is CAM has accepted our offer to prove that the TomCat court cleaning machine will not hurt the pickleball courts. We proposed to clean one court the equivalent of 3 years worth of cleaning. To do this, we will be cleaning court 4 twice a day for a 30 day period. The dates chosen are June 1-30. This will be a very controlled test.
Cleaning our courts with this machine saves time, money, water and energy.
CAM requires the club to have members vote for both the testing and the resurfacing costs if the court were damaged. If we did damage court 4, then the club would agree to pay $3,868 for it to be resurfaced.
