I just wanted to put out some items that are happening on and around the courts.
- I want to take a moment to personally thank Mike O’Meara, Joe Williams, and George Cox. They take care of the electronics for the club such as the card readers, website, TV’s at the courts and registrations. Mike just realigned the swipe card readers so that they swipe the first time. THIS IS HUGE. Please swipe in every time that you are at the courts and let me know if there are any issues.
- The PDP for the ice machine/water bottle filler is on the last step and will be voted on by the BOD at their monthly meeting on March 14th at 1 PM in the Sonoran. Please come out and show your support.
- Lastly, I was approached by members of the BOD and CAM management about the Pickleball Club helping out the Tennis Club on their court maintenance/cleaning. This morning, we took the Billy Goat and TomCat machines over to the tennis courts and showed CAM maintenance how to use them. It took about 45 minutes to clean one court and @20 gallons of water. This is a huge savings on labor and water for the community. More info on this to come.
