Volunteers are Needed for the Sharing the Pickleball Love Charity Tournament December 12-15, 2019

We will have some of the best professional players in the country competing on our courts.  Volunteers will play an enormous role as we all help to make this an historical weekend here in Grand.  We have an opportunity to show the Pickleball world how great it is to live and play on our beautiful courts.  Keeping all of this in mind, we will need a lot of volunteers to help make the Charity Pickleball Tournament a huge success.  You will get a monitor credit and a volunteer shirt for helping us out and you will play a big part in making history on the Sun City Grand Pickleball Courts.

Listed below are the volunteer positions, days, and times that we need people to help.

  1. Social/Pro Exhibition – 2 people from 2 pm – 6 pm – Thursday December 12
  2. Pre-Tournament set up – 4 people from 11 am – ? Thursday, December 12
  3. Set Up Crew – 3 people daily from 6 am – 8 am Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  4. Registration desk – 2 people daily from 7 am – 11 am Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  5. Ref Desk – 2 people daily from 7 am – noon and noon – to end Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  6. Event Desk – 4 people daily – 2 from 7 am – noon and 2 from noon – to end Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  7. Court Cleaners – 3 people daily from 5:30 am – 8 am Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  8. Player snack table – 4 people daily – 2 from 8 am – noon and 2 from noon – to end Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  9. First Aid – 4 daily – 2 from 8 am – noon and 2 from noon – to end Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  10. Court Monitors – 8 Daily – 4 people from 8 am – noon and 4 from noon – to end Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  11. Score Posting – 2 daily – 1 from 8 am – noon and 1 from noon – to end Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  12. Parking lot monitor – 2 daily from 6 am – 10 am Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  13. Grace church parking lot – 4 daily – 2 from 6 am -10 am – 2 from 10am – 2 pm Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  14. Line Judges/ Training will be held prior to the Tournament – 28 needed daily Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  15. Pro Hospitality Tent – 2 daily – 1 from 6 am – 10 am – 1 from 10 am – to end
  16. Take Down Crew – 4 needed on Sunday afternoon –  time to be determined
