To all of the Sun City Grand Pickleball Club Members:
I received an email from CAM yesterday asking me to send out a blast to all of our club members. It seems that some of our people are still playing on CAM property. I think at this point, you are risking your CAM privileges and most importantly, your life and others around you.
From: Ken Olson – I am sending a note regarding usage of Association property for Pickleball play. We have been informed there are still those playing, while not on the courts, as they are locked, they are playing and congregating in the parking lots. As of Monday, March 23rd, the information below was sent to residents:
Sun City Grand Open-Air Facilities Closed [Except Golf]
As many of you know, the COVID-19 changes on a daily basis. Therefore, it causes additional changes for Sun City Grand. These changes are a continued effort in protecting the health and safety of our residents. As of today, March 23rd, 2020, all Open-air facilities will be closed. This includes Pet Parks, Pickleball Courts, Tennis Courts, Bocce Ball, Lawn Bowling, Horseshoes, and Softball Field. Except for Golf, Golf will remain open. Please click here for the most updated information regarding Golf Play. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
I am hoping you can send an email to your membership as a reminder that group activities are being discouraged. As the decision of CAM and our SCG Board of Directors is for the safety and well-being of our residents. Please encourage your club members to abide by this decision. I appreciate your assistance and understanding.
