Court construction will begin on November 7 and the estimated completion date is February 2, 2017. The crews will start around 7 am each day. The following will occur during construction:
- The wall on the Tennis court will be coming down during the 1st week. The north gates into courts 5 & 6 will be closed, you will have to enter those courts through courts 1 & 2. The Breezeway at that end will also be closed. During the demolition of the wall there will be dust created and a lot of noise, be aware of that if you decide to use courts 5 & 6 and 9 & 11.
- The north gates on courts 11 & 12 will be closed for the duration of the construction, entrance onto these courts will be through courts 9 & 10. The north Breezeway will also be closed for the duration of construction and will only be used for the construction crews.
- Courts 9 & 11 will be closed from 11/21/16-11/25/16, if this date changes I will let everyone know before hand.
- Once the new courts are completed and ready for use, the old courts will be shut down so the green areas can be repainted.
Everyone please be mindful that there will be a lot of workers and equipment around the courts, so be careful and let them do their work. There might be some times where they need to enter a court to do some work, please stop play and let them do what needs to be done. We are trying to make this process the least painful for everyone keeping as many courts open during the construction period, so we all must cooperate with the contractor to get this job done safely and on time.
