I just received an email from club member, Mary Ortman. Her husband Charlie has been awaiting a life saving kidney transplant for quite awhile.
Yesterday, Charlie was taken to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, where he underwent the kidney transplant surgery. Everything went well and he hopes to be home by Monday.
That’s the way to celebrate the holiday season.
