A few items of interest

I wanted to get the word out about some happenings around the pickleball courts.

  1. First off, CAM and the BOD earlier this summer approved the resurfacing of the pickleball courts.  When I know the dates and times that they will begin, I will send out an email blast to let everyone know.  I hope that it is completed this month, but nothing has been decided yet.
  2. The proposed December 15-17 tournament will NOT be an open to the public tournament.  Instead, we are deciding on whether to use those dates for an in-house tournament instead.  The format would be a skill level round robin set up, meaning that each team would get 7-8 games minimum.  We would also be using Rally scoring for each game. More to follow when we have made a decision.
  3. Lastly, Next Monday, September 11 from 9AM until ?, we will be doing our annual Fall Pickleball Courts Clean up.  We need to wash the tables, chairs, cushions, and common areas.  We will also be fixing loose tables and chairs and painting items that need it.  Volunteers are needed to get this done.  You will receive a Monitor credit for your help, and food will be provided during the clean-up.  Please let me know if you can help us out.

See you around the courts.
